I recently stayed at Central Islington in Townsville for a weekend getaway. The location was great, offering a wonderful view from the balcony. The spa and swimming pool area were well set out, and access to parking was convenient. The hotel provided a detailed guide for weekend check-ins, which was helpful since there were no staff available. I had a pleasant experience with no issues, and I would certainly recommend Central Islington Apartments.

Good position, quiet, great facilities, friendly staff

Fresh, clean and modern. Bedroom was great size, everything was really lovely.

The view but it will be better when all the building around is completed. Oh and I found the position of the office a little confusing to find at first.

The apartment was amazing, it felt like a home away from home. The fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher made cooking a breeze, and the laundry facilities were a real lifesaver with the kids. The balcony was a lovely touch, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning.

Personally, I found the private bathroom a bit cramped, but it's just my opinion. Some people might still find it perfectly fine.

The room was new-fashioned for 3 bedrooms, had NICE experience. There were a microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge, truly enjoyed it. The location was marvellous, for example, Reef Hq was within easy walking distance of the hotel.

the hotel is beautiful with understanding employees on checking in and explaining our circumstances to the manager. we booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, a lounge and blinds.

Great area close enough to two pubs very close by & near the railway station, Cowboys stadium and the beach with a view to Magnetic Island.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the apartment at Islington At Central. It easily accommodated our group of 3 adults and 3 kids. The secure parking and seamless check-in process made our arrival hassle-free. The pool and communal area were impressive with a long pool, ample deck area, and BBQ facilities. The location was also great, allowing us to easily explore the town. we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay and as we are from the country found the quiet very surprising even though there was construction in progress.The secure underground carpark and lift were wonderful.We would stay here again without question. Thank you to you all.

We had no problems with our room and really enjoyed the quiet of the aircon as we had had some that were not so desirable

Well presented and brand-new room, everything was modern. I was offered a room with exceptional views over the river and to the mountains. Included a lounge and blinds, and the bed was comfy. Location: the hotel was adjacent to cinemas with a great choice of dining options as well as eateries, shopping, night out.

We got great value for our money with spacious and modern apartments, friendly staff, and convenient location near the city center and Cowboys stadium. Natasha and Alice went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

The breakfast options could be improved to provide a more satisfying meal experience.

The hotel is conveniently located next to a café and within walking distance to the railway station. The modern apartments offer spacious rooms, great amenities, including a gym and pool area, and beautiful views of the city. Full kitchen amenities and a washing machine and dryer are convenient features.

Some guests may be bothered by the noise from partying young people, as noted in some reviews.

it was central to what we wanted to do. the view was great. the rooms were modern and comfortable.

i was a bit disappointed at the number of things wrong with fittings etc for something that was advertised as a "brand new" complex. if paying for something that new you expect everything to be 100%.

The staff were accommodating and ensured a safe arrival. Easy check-in, lovely and helpful staff. Spacious, comfortable apartments with everything we needed. Pool, BBQ area, and undercover parking were great. Large balcony with impressive river view. Good location, convenient and quiet. Well-designed and well-equipped kitchen.
